Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Carrion

Hi Sasha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

When I was around 30, I found myself in the darkest mental state I had ever experienced—and trust me, I’d already faced more than my fair share of challenges. I had grown up as an orphan after my parents mysteriously disappeared when I was just 5 years old. My mother vanished first, followed by my father a few days later. The details of what happened were shrouded in mystery, leaving my younger sister and me to navigate a childhood filled with insecurity, instability, and unanswered questions. Despite the odds, I did my best to push through those early years.

Then, at the age of 30, the truth came crashing down on me. I discovered that my father—whom I had reconnected with a decade earlier and had grown incredibly close to—was the one who had killed my mother all those years ago.

The revelation left me utterly shattered. A whirlwind of emotions consumed me: anger, heartbreak, sadness, and an overwhelming desire for justice. Anxiety and depression crept in, making it nearly impossible to see a way forward. The weight of it all felt unbearable. Life seemed unbearably cruel, and for the first time, I questioned whether I even wanted to go on. I felt broken, lost, and utterly defeated.

Traditional talk therapy was my first step toward seeking help, but it wasn’t enough. My wounds ran too deep. When I didn’t find relief, I was referred to a psychiatrist. I attended sessions and began taking medication, but the meds only dulled my mind, leaving me feeling disconnected from myself. Worse, they did nothing to address the physical toll my emotional pain had taken on my body.

I began experiencing relentless migraines, along with severe neck, shoulder, and upper back pain that made even basic movement difficult. Over time, I could barely turn my head, and sleep became a nightly struggle. My body seemed to be in rebellion—lines began to etch themselves into my face prematurely, my hair started falling out, and I felt like I was falling apart, both physically and emotionally.

In a state of desperation, I turned to hypnotherapy. From the very first session, I felt a shift. It was subtle at first, like a veil lifting, but each time I went back, I could feel the weight of my pain lightening. My perspective began to change. I saw my situation, my emotions, and even myself in a new way. Things that once felt overwhelming or impossible to face started to lose their hold on me.

As I continued to heal, I realized the incredible potential of hypnotherapy—not just for myself, but for others. This revelation led me to a new path: becoming a transformational coach and hypnotherapist. I saw clearly that even those who had endured the toughest of life’s challenges could heal, rebuild, and move forward.

Now, that’s my mission: helping others rediscover their strength, rewrite their stories, and create a future they never thought possible.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

The biggest struggle I faced was figuring out how I could heal and move forward with my life. After all, I couldn’t just forget about it. The weight of the truth felt unbearable at first. How could I reconcile that my own parent, somebody who should have been loving and supportive could have caused me so much harm? How is the rest of the world going to treat me? I felt so confused.

Hypnotherapy became the lifeline I didn’t even know I needed. It allowed me to process the depth of my emotions in a way nothing else could. Through it, I began to untangle the knots of hurt, anger, and betrayal that had taken root inside me. With each session, I experienced subtle but powerful shifts—changes that transformed not just how I thought but how I felt. Hypnotherapy gave me the tools to reframe my story and reclaim my life, turning a painful past into the foundation for a brighter future.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about?

I’m a transformational coach and hypnotherapist who helps people to unblock themselves by healing past trauma, eliminating limiting beliefs and retraining their minds. Through powerful one-on-one sessions, the expert care provided by my team in our therapy offices and online, and now my new app – MindMorph. I bring life-changing tools and guidance to those ready to transform. I firmly believe that with the right support, anything is possible.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?

I foresee a transformative shift in the mental health and personal development industries, with subconscious work becoming a cornerstone of healing and growth. While traditional talk therapy holds value, it’s increasingly evident that addressing issues on a conscious level alone often falls short in creating deep, lasting change. Thought and behavioral patterns are deeply rooted in the subconscious, and modalities like hypnotherapy, NLP, and similar approaches provide the tools needed to unlock and rewire these underlying layers, empowering individuals to achieve profound mental shifts.

Research in neuroscience are also showing the strong scientific foundation of subconscious work, highlighting its effectiveness in addressing trauma, breaking limiting patterns, and fostering personal transformation. As people increasingly seek rapid, impactful results over prolonged, drawn-out processes, these methods are poised to become a preferred choice for both therapists and clients.

The future of mental health and personal development is bright, with subconscious work at the forefront. I believe this evolution will redefine how we approach emotional well-being and self-improvement, offering better results for our clients.
