You are not broken. You are just human. This quote was inspired by the fact that I constantly have new clients telling me that they feel broken when talking about the issues that they want to work on. Having gone through some very tough times myself, I know how easy it is to feel this way.
It’s important that you be loving, kind and understanding of yourself while in the process of healing. You may not see it this way now but it is possible for you to heal from whatever you’ve experienced and move on to live the life that you want to live. It’s just a matter of time.
The same way that I’ve heard people express that they don’t feel they’ll get better, I’ve seen plenty do exactly that only to then continue living their lives completely forgetting about what once was a source of pain and grief. You can too. Keep your head up and keep doing what you need to do for yourself.
