This footage is of a recent trip I took with friends to the Philippines. One of the largest fish on earth, the whale shark boasts being the largest living non-mammalian vertebrate. We were told by our guide that he was probably 5 years old and a mere 5 meters. He is already massive and can reach 12.65 m (41.50 ft). And while large, look at how smoothly he glid in the water. I see amazing animals like these and it reminds me of why it is crucial that we take care of our planet.
At :27, you’ll catch a funny moment when this guy opens his mouth wide.
