Negative thoughts are common experiences for all human beings. When experiencing these scenarios, keep in mind that one of the best ways to combat the situation is to not give any energy. In doing so, you are able to diffuse the situation by giving it next to no importance in your mind. Why does this simple technique work so well? Because whatever you focus on is what you end up bringing more of into your life. Whatever you focus on becomes even stronger and larger than what it probably was before. Get used to being able to become aware of a situation and then to release it if it doesn’t serve you in any way. Things including negative thoughts will come in life. It’s what you choose to do with them that matters.
