When we have higher standards for ourselves, we are able to put in check any attitudes that don’t go with the person that we’ve chosen to be and the society that we choose to live in. True change always starts at the individual level.
After that, it’s important to have high standards in our society to where, the atrocious things that have happened in the past, are no longer acceptable and are no longer denied.
It’s only this way that we will be able to move forward as one race – the human race.
