Being positive is more beneficial than being pessimistic. This is my last affirmation. Nobody likes a Debbie Downer. While it may sometimes be difficult to see the glass as half full rather than half empty, being positive and rational has more benefits than being pessimistic.
Focusing on negativity and always expecting the worst can prevent us from doing what we should be instead: trying to achieve happiness and meet our goals in life.
If you want to know what I consider being positive it is to see the good side in life, to believe in your own power to improve and hope your life will improve and get better, even if you are going through bad moments.
On the contrary if you see constantly the bad stuff only then you will feel worse and you will end feeling trapped without being able to find a way out. Think always in the positive things around you and be close to the people who love you and encourage you to feel good.
I leave you with a quote by Willie Nelson, the great artist: “Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.”
