Do you truly love yourself? After talking with thousands of people in a therapeutic setting, I’ve realized that many people’s problems stem from a lack of self appreciation, self esteem and self approval. If you’re not giving yourself authentic love and respect and allowing yourself room to make mistakes and grow, then your relationships with others will always be limited.
Here are some thoughts on how loving yourself can be beneficial: Confidence and positivity keep you feeling whole and complete; You’re not looking for anybody’s approval when you have your own. When you are confident, you release yourself of the huge burden of pleasing others.
Here are some thoughts on how loving yourself can be beneficial:
7. Confidence and positivity keep you feeling whole and complete; You’re not looking for anybody’s approval when you have your own. When you are confident, you release yourself of the huge burden of pleasing others.
6. When you love yourself its easier to teach others how you want them to treat you, ensuring that you are respected and that your relationships are the kind of relationships you want to have.
5. When you are grounded and centered, you find it easy to say no when you need to. This includes distancing yourself from people who are negative and manipulative.
4. You no longer take things personally. You won’t personalize it when somebody is a jerk to you and you won’t linger on other people’s negative words or behaviors. Taking things personally only wastes your time, nobody else’s.
3. You will find that you attract people on the same wavelength as you and you will find that your relationships are much smoother ones. And if you know anything about the law of attraction, the more love you give yourself, the more love will come to you.
2. You won’t feel desperate when single, because you know you are never alone. You have you. It makes no difference if you are in a relationship or not, because you always have the key to your own happiness.
1. You will feel worthy of love because you have your own self love.
With Love,
